Greases & Lubricants - Progressive Research & Development Laboratory (PRDL)
The R&D Centre: Greases & Lubricants, named as Progressive Research & Development Laboratory (PRDL), located in Malaysia was established in 2010 with the objective of carrying out applications oriented research in greases and lubricants. The R&D centre is equipped with advanced test rigs / instruments tested by experienced personnel are committed to maintain cost competitiveness and achieving technological leadership through introduction of innovative products, product up-gradation & value engineering.
The major thrust areas for R&D are high performance & specialty products for niche markets with focus on high performance lubricants which caters to the ever demanding market. The R&D Centre is engaged in development of various high performance lubricants with critical applications parameters like high temperature, extreme pressure, low temperature and long life lubrication. The R&D Centre is instrumental in developing various specialty lubricants and providing innovative lubrication solutions to the core sectors such as Industries, Marine, Automobiles, Machineries and other applications.
We also outsource laboratory testing and certifications to certifiable and renowned Laboratory services to ensure that our in-house R&D is supported, verified and validated independently. Our Research & Development Operations are located right next door to the production plans - it defines our desire to be where things happen. Just a stone’s throw from our laboratories, there are cisterns being filled with base oil, while the products are being mixed less than a hundred meters from where we are designing lubricant formulas for the future. In order to keep the lead, we keep ourselves up to date with the latest developments around the world, new formulations, and specialists in the field of lubricants in the quest for excellence.

We also possess our own Industrial Packaging Plant and it plays a pivotal role in enabling quality up gradation, product innovation & diversification keeping pace with changing technology.
Investments in Technology
Major investments are being made in technology, which will support not only the manufacturing businesses but also the service businesses. ERP (SAP) is in the process of being implemented in the Organization, Plant and support functions. Having our own Transportation and Logistics Infrastructure in place we intend to provide our clients with an On-Time delivery service to meet their demands and exceed expectations. Customer Relationship Management and Satisfaction is our highest priority.
